MSc Business (Consulting), 2022

Based in:

India

Came to study at Warwick from:

India

First job:

Assistant Sales Manager at a Construction company.

Strangest interview question:

What is your favourite colour?

Founder and Director, EntreLogy Business School.

Describe your current role and what attracted you to it.

After graduating, I moved back to India to start an educational platform.

I always wanted to do something in entrepreneurship education, and the lessons I learned at Warwick expanded my horizons and helped me dive deeper into studying, analysing, and planning strategies for businesses.

EntreLogy has been offering entrepreneurship education since 2022, with our flagship programme designed to ensure every student graduates with a revenue-generating startup.

What鈥檚 your favourite part of your role?

I get to teach aspiring entrepreneurs daily. I enjoy studying new ideas, markets, businesses, and helping them design a roadmap with strategies that may lead them to success.

Also, from being a student at a business school to being the founder of a business school is a journey worth enjoying every day.

What are the key skills you learnt at Warwick that have helped you with your career to date?

I think my course in consulting taught me a lot about designing strategies for businesses and startups. More than the strategies, it helped me learn how to study markets, ideas, competition, and a lot more about businesses and how to design winning strategies.

Did you have a specific career path in mind when you chose to study at Warwick?

I always wanted to come back to India and start my business. I was very fascinated by the idea of entrepreneurship education but did not know what exactly I'd do. I somewhat figured it out while studying at Warwick. Danilo Di Salvo, my professor at Warwick, was a great support who kept guiding me at every stage of ideation.

What top tips do you have for Warwick graduates who would like to work in your sector?

Education is a very exciting space. It has the scope to make good money; however, more importantly, it gives you the satisfaction of shaping the future of others. When you see your student鈥檚 success, the level of satisfaction and happiness you get is unmatched.

Education is a space that will give you happiness, time for family, and good money. But all of this will only come with time because the most important factor here is credibility, which is established over time.

What has been your greatest career challenge to date and how did your experience and skills help overcome it?

Establishing credibility. This took time; however, even before this was established, I managed to sell my programmes to more than 800 students.

This was only possible because of two things.

1. My sales skills that I keep working on, day in and day out

2. My education at Warwick.

What do you know now that you wish you had known when you were applying for jobs?

I wish I had a better understanding of cash flow management when I was setting up the business. Things would be much smoother, and perhaps growth could have been faster.

What ambitions do you have for the future?

I'm looking to shape EntreLogy on the global stage as the world's leading startup and entrepreneurship school.

What鈥檚 the best piece of advice you鈥檝e been given in relation to your career?

You must build to serve. Out of service comes credibility, out of credibility comes success, and out of success comes money.

You start serving, and ultimately, you will achieve more than you deserve.

What should current students or recent alumni be doing to move their careers forward?

I think in the world of AI, where everyone is focusing on upskilling their AI knowledge, Emotional Intelligence must not be overlooked. The future belongs to those who will possess a great blend of EQ and AI execution.
