Our Disciplines
Cultural and Media Policy
Researchers in the Centre for Cultural and Media Policy Studies have been at the leading edge of debates about creative industries and cultural policy for over two decades.
SCAPVC Collaborates
Whether it is our contributions to the regional consortium, our leadership of the Doctoral Focal Award, or our work in the Centre for Digital Inquiry, SCAPVC researchers are at the heart of the University's mission to enhance inter-disciplinarity.
Film and Television
Our research reaches a variety of audiences, impacting public knowledge, understanding and enjoyment of film and TV. Our projects are enhanced by national and international partnerships within the academy and beyond.
History of Art
Our research ranges widely from issues of building construction in medieval Europe to questions about ritual and moving images in the global twenty-first century. Longstanding interests include Venetian and British art, Empire as a global issue, and concerns with the spaces art depicts and occupies
Theatre and Performance
Our research responds to real-world challenges and delivers tangible impacts for creative practitioners, communities and organisations nationally and internationally. As well as producing text-based research, we make practice-based research in regional, national and international settings
Warwick Writing Programme
Writers in WWP lead on practice-led research in the School, through the work that informs our creative outputs in poetry, fiction, non-fiction and translation.
